Root-Cause Pain & Stability Recovery
Your pain isn't "just normal now." At Form & Motion Physical Therapy, we believe the leaking, the aching joints, and the body that never quite came back are signals of a pattern that can be corrected, not something you have to live with.
Our root-cause approach is built for women dealing with postpartum pain, core weakness, pelvic floor symptoms, joint hypermobility, and instability that keeps coming back no matter how many stretches or adjustments you've tried.
Whether you had your baby six weeks ago, thirty years ago, or never at all, you deserve care that restores the breath, pressure, and stability your body has been compensating for, instead of chasing symptoms.

What Is
Root-Cause Pain & Stability Recovery?
Root-cause pain and stability recovery starts from a fundamentally different place than traditional physical therapy.
Instead of treating the spot that hurts, this approach looks at why it hurts. Pain that moves around, adjustments that only hold for a few hours, a back that "goes out" bending over to pick something up: these are signs that your body has been compensating, and the area of pain is almost never the actual problem.
That's a big shift. Standard rehab models focus on stretching what's tight and strengthening what's weak, then sending you home with a sheet of exercises. For postpartum and hypermobile bodies, that often makes things worse.
When the ligaments are lax, the breath and pressure system is off, and the nervous system is stuck in fight-or-flight, more stretching and more core work just layer new compensations on top of old ones.
The focus is on identifying your specific pattern, restoring breath, pressure, and stability first, calming the nervous system so healing can actually happen, and rebuilding strength on a foundation that holds, whether you're weeks postpartum, decades postpartum, or have never had children at all.
